I (Rafael) really enjoy Outrigger Canoeing. I’m part of a team, I train, and I recognize the incredible value of collective work in that sport. But at Adventure in Floripa, our goal for you is different. In an Outrigger Canoe, you are part of a collective engine. On a Kayak or SUP, you are the captain of your own journey.

We know that for many, the idea of being alone in the boat is intimidating at first. "Will I be able to paddle?", "What if I flip?". That’s exactly where our difference lies. As a trained instructor, I’m not just there watching; I provide the paddling techniques, posture, and wind reading before we even hit the water.
The Achievement
When you finish the tour at Peri Lagoon (Lagoa do Peri) or French Island (Ilha do Francês), the feeling isn't that "someone took you there." The feeling is: "I did it. I mastered the equipment. I conquered this path." You take this empowerment with you out of the water and into your life.
Why don't we work with rentals?
Another frequent question is: "Do you rent out equipment?". The answer is a kind no. The sea and lagoons of Florianópolis are alive and change by the hour. For us, your safety is non-negotiable. When you go out with an Adventure in Floripa instructor, you are taking with you:
Weather Analysis: We analyze wind, tide, and swell before you even arrive.
Local Knowledge: We know where the rocks, currents, and best resting spots are.
Risk Management: Risk exists in nature, but it is minimized to the extreme when a prepared professional is by your side.
Renting a kayak is just picking up an object. Taking a tour with us is acquiring an outdoor experience with safety and technical learning, led by a Physical Education professional and Sailor.
