The guided Morro do Lampião trail, located in the Rio Tavares neighborhood, is a short and gentle hike — around 1 km uphill through well-preserved Atlantic Forest. At the summit, we’re rewarded with a 360-degree panoramic view, which includes Lagoa da Conceição, Joaquina Beach, Moçambique Beach, Campeche, Campeche Island, the South Bay and the Mainland — all beautifully lit by the first light of day.
More than just scenic beauty, this guided ecotourism tour is an opportunity to slow down, take a deep breath, and reconnect with what really matters.

💡 Do I need hiking experience?
Not at all!
The trail is beginner to intermediate level, with about 1 km of uphill walking and pauses for rest.
Before the hike begins, you’ll receive all the guidance needed to walk safely, even in low-light conditions.
